| Biography/History | The first North Dakota Chautauqua was held in 1892. In 1893 the permanent Chautauqua site on Rock Island, Devils Lake, was established. After the Chautauqua started to decline in the 1920s, the area became residential, and changed its name to Lakeview Park. |
