| Biography/History | C. Norman Brunsdale was educated in Portland N.D. before going to university at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. He then returned to the family farm in the Portland area. He was a supporter of water projects, and saw the Garrison Dam and Conservancy District established during his term. After leaving the governor's office, he was appointed to the Senate after the death of William Langer. |
