"The building nex to rooming house was vacant when I left Antler. Someone tole me was harness shop. This looks like west side of the square. Rooming house second bldg was store dry goods by Mr. Irvine. I belive [sic] he came from Westhope. Margaret Manning. First Nat. Bank. John Laport Drug Store 1905 or 6. Mr. Laport brother in law was druggist Dr. Dewal"--Handwritten on back of postcard. |
| Biography/History | Antler was founded in 1898 and moved about two miles in 1902 to be at the terminus of the Great Northern Railroad. Town population peaked in 1910. |
