Built in 1919, the former Jens Myhre Round Barn is the only round barn surviving in the state which employed a ramp to the mow area. The interior arrangement of the structure is a throwback to an earlier period and is an inefficient use of the space, suggesting a vernacular builder who clung to a familiar spatial arrangement. This barn was entered into the National Register of Historic Places as part of a Round Barn thematic nomination 1986-08-21.
