Biography/HistoryBuilt in 1936, Central High School (now Central Middle School) was constructed to occupy 40% of an entire city block between Fourth and Fifth Avenues. It is a two story Art Deco building constructed of cream brick with limestone accents. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places 2003-12-29
