| Biography/History | Nina Mary Farley Wishek was born in 1869. She married John H. Wishek, 14 years her senior in 1891. She worked as a teacher, was involved in women's organizations, and was an author, poet, and a writer of historical works, particularly of the McIntosh County and Ashley area.
Esther Wishek was born in 1894 and married Carl Tange in 1919. They operated farms at Outlook, Mont. before moving to Whittier, Calif. They had five children: Nina Tange, Margaret Tange, Helen Tange, Carl Tange Jr., and John Tange.
Anna Wishek was born in 1896. She married Ryland Benson in 1918. He died in 1934, and she never remarried. She had four children: Barbara Benson, Louise Anne Benson Beterson Wiese, Joan Farley Benson, Ryland Reese Benson.
Jean Wishek was born in 1902 and married Norman Ofsthun in 1927 and lived in Palm Springs, Calif. They had one daughter, Jeannette Ofsthun. |
