| Biography/History | Peter Jorgenson was born in Nesbyen, Norway and moved to Dakota Territory in 1888. He worked in Rochester, Minn. and in Grand Forks before marrying Betsy Larson in 1894 and moving to Springfield Township near Leeds, N.D. Peter and Betsy had seven children: Oscar, George, Gunda, Palmer, Laura, Carl, and Emma. George Jorgenson was born in 1898 in Springfield Township in Towner county. He married Magnil Medhus in 1928 in Devils Lake. They had five children: Richard, Betsy, Ardis, and Inez and Ione, twin girls. Richard Jorgenson was born in 1929 and married Lois Carlson. They had two children Janel and Eric. |
