| Biography/History | Laura Jorgenson was born in 1896 in Towner County, N.D. and was the daughter of Peter and Betsy Jorgenson. She attended high school at Leeds, N.D. and graduated from the University of North Dakota. She taught grade school for two years. In 1924 she married Oscar Paulson of Thief River Falls, Minn. Together, they had four children: Robert, Bruce, James, and Patricia. Oscar Paulson was from Thief River Falls, Minn. and served in World War I. He worked for the Soo Line Railroad and for American Express. In 1923, he was elected as an alderman to the Thief River Falls city council. |
