Biography/HistoryPeter Jorgenson was born in Nesbyen, Norway and moved to Dakota Territory in 1888. He worked in Rochester, Minn. and in Grand Forks before marrying Betsy Larson in 1894 and moving to Springfield Township near Leeds, N.D. Peter and Betsy had seven children: Oscar, George, Gunda, Palmer, Laura, Carl, and Emma.
