Biography/HistoryThe original Liberty Memorial Bridge between Bismarck and Mandan opened in 1922 and cost nearly 2 million dollars to build. The bridge was demolished and replaced in 2008. The new Liberty Memorial Bridge opened for traffic in 2008 and cost approximately 62 million dollars to build.
