| Transcription | T. Sophronia Rodgers (nee McWilliams) was born in 1854 in Greenfield, Ohio. The family later moved to Oskaloosa, Iowa. She married Charles D. Rodgers in 1882. In 1883, she and her infant daughter Idella moved to McKenzie Township, Dakota Territory, to be with Mr. Rodgers. The Rodgers would have 5 children in total: Idella (later Mrs. L.W. Sperry), Charles Earl, Wilbert Alexander, Lorena (Mrs. P.P. Bliss), and Dick. She was a member of the U.C.T.U. and served as its president for many years. She was also a member of the D.A.R. and a member of the Burleigh County Pioneers Association, along with her husband. She died in 1935. |
