| Biography/History | Julius H. Weinrebe was born in 1879 in Minnesota. He filed on a homestead near Columbus N.D. He was employed in the clothing business, plus worked in coal mining with his father in law D.J. Lloyd. He married Ethel Lloyd in 1910. They had two daughters, Nita and Donna Jane. Weinrebe bought McJanett's furniture store in Minot, and later built his own store on 1st Ave. SE in Minot. The building boasted a model home built in the basement, and furnished with items from the Weinrebe store. Julius H. Weinrebe died of influenza in Minot in 1919. |
