Biography/HistoryLouis B. Hanna was born in Pennsylvania and educated on the East Coast. Hanna and his brother Robert came to Dakota Territory in 1881 and farmed near Hope. He later moved to Page and opened several businesses, including the First National Bank of Page. He served in the state senate before becoming governor in 1913.
