| Biography/History | The Historic Preservation Week photo contest was conducted from November 1990 until February 1991, to highlight historic structures and buildings in the state and was part of the Historic Preservation Week celebrations. Originally owned by Asa Fisher, the house that would become the Governor's Mansion was built in 1884 at the corner of 4th Street and Avenue B. It was occupied by North Dakota governors from 1893 to 1960. |
