Biography/HistoryAlma Parkin was married to Henry S. Parkin, owner of the Cannonball Ranch, and a member of the territorial legislature, and later a state senator. Alma Parkin was an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. Alma Parkin operated the ranch after her husband's death in 1895 until her death in 1913.
