Biography/HistoryFred Aandahl grew up in Litchville, N.D. and was a teacher and Superintendent of Schools there. He was a leader of the Republican Organizing Committee, and served as governor between 1945 and 1951. He later served in Congress, and was Assistant Secretary of the Department of the Interior.
