Biography/HistoryThis monument to George Armstrong Custer in Monroe, Michigan is named "Sighting the Enemy" and was sculpted by Edward C. Potter. It represents Custer's service in the Civil War, not his time in the Indian Wars. It was dedicated on June 4, 1910.
