Transcription"Do not be fooled by the lies of the enemy. The United States government will not take away from the people any home-canned goods and preserves, or home-grown vegetables kept for family use. All reports to the contrary are false and were started by the enemy or the friends of the enemy to frighten you. But hoarders, beware! the man who buys and holds more food than he needs is a hoarder, and is actually taking food from the mouths of our soldiers and the Allies and is hindering his country from winning the war. United States Food Administration"--Printed on front of poster.
