| Biography/History | Michael Cuskelly's parents emigrated from Ireland to New York in 1849. Michael Cuskelly was born in Minnesota. Michael worked with his father William first in their mercantile business, and then as postmaster in Dickinson, N.D. Michael Cuskelly married Kitty (Catherine) Davis and they moved to Oakdale, N.D., where he ranches, and also operated a store and was postmaster from 1902-1911. The Cuskellys adopted two children, Edward and Ella. The Cuskellys sold their ranch in 1925 and moved to Dickinson. Michael died in 1934 and Kitty died in 1930. |
