Biography/HistoryEdward and Minnie Krecklau filed on land in Blooming Valley Township in 1906. They built a sod house and bought oxen to break up the land. A frame house was constructed on the claim in 1908, and a modern house was built in 1917. Later, the Krecklaus moved to Crosby.
