Biography/History W.B. Knox moved from Pennsylvania to the Ellendale area in 1882. Mr. Knox helped haul lumber from the railroad line to start the Keystone settlement. He built a claim shanty in 1882 and built a house in the same area in 1883. He and his family lived here until they moved to Ellendale in 1926.
