| Biography/History | Herman Roeder was born in 1854 in Gutsdorg, Germany. He married Augusta Schroeder in Prussia. in 1881, Roeder and other young men moved to the Holmes, N.D. area. The Roeder family farmed there until 1917 when they moved to Grand Forks. The Roeders would have 10 children in all. Herman died in 1940 and Augusta died in 1926. |
