| Biography/History | In 1883, a vote was taken to organize a Congregational Church in Carrington, N.D. A Sunday school was organized, and services were held in the Kirkwood Hotel until the congregation moved to the new schoolhouse while a church building was being built. The first service in the new church was held in June 1884. A new church was built in 1906 across the street from the original church, which would be sold to the school district. The new church was built of concrete blocks. In 1938, the Congregational and Methodist churches combined. |
