DescriptionThe richly decorated white limestone exterior of the Grand Forks County Courthouse in Grand Forks, N.D. boasts a modified Classical Revival style. Fenestration is deeply recessed rectangular bays with a narrow double hung window on either side of a wider window. This photo also shows two of the Corinthian columns which flank the entrance door.

Biography/HistoryBuilt between 1913 and 1914, the Grand Forks County Courthouse in Grand Forks, N.D. is the largest and most expensive of the Buechner and Orth courthouses found in the state. The courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of a thematic nomination 1980-11-25.
